Invitation to 'Service' welcome

We are invited to 'welcome to Inverness' the painting 'Service' by David Rowlands.
The event takes place at 7pm on Wed. Aug. 3rd at the Highland Archive Centre, Bught Road, Inverness IV3 5SS.
'Service' was presented to the Scottish Parliament by the Army and is touring cities as part of Scotland's WW1 commemorations. The painting vividly depicts Scottish soldiering in the last 100 years, recognising the contribution of serving soldiers, veterans and their families.
The event will include a welcome by the Provost of Inverness, Cllr Helen Carmichael and project Holyrood Director, Brigadier Joseph d'Inverno. Light refreshments will be served.
